CHORÉGIES D’ORANGE 2026

Another unforgettable evening at the majestic Théâtre Antique d’Orange for the 15th edition of Musiques en Fête !

Invited back for the third time as a featured artist, Emy Gazeilles performed Musetta’s Waltz from La Bohème as well as excerpts from Rigoletto. It was a special return to the stage where her musical journey began, as a member of the Opéra Grand Avignon Children's Choir, before appearing in the very first editions of Pop the Opera. Returning to such a meaningful place makes this moment even more memorable.

The same can be said of Emy Gazeilles, whose remarkable ascent we have been witnessing for several years. In both Musetta’s Waltz and the Rigoletto excerpts on the programme, the Avignon-born soprano demonstrated newfound confidence in the upper register—building on her unforgettable Lisette in La Rondine at the Gattières Festival—while her lower register has developed a welcome fullness and warmth.
